Narcissus & Echo (2021)

A co-production with Veejays.com: an interactive Virtual Reality dance experience about loneliness and connection.

The audience is drawn into a mirrored palace in virtual reality with the mythical figures Narcissus and Echo, together, yet unable to truly reach one another. One risks losing himself in unrequited love; the other sees only her own reflection, drifting further from reality. Developed during the pandemic, when stages stood empty, Narcissus & Echo asks whether performance could survive at a distance, and finds new art and new possibility in that limitation.
