Study of Two

An immersive performance with a duet for two men at its center. Study of Two investigates the psyches  and creative processes of Van Gogh and Munch, and was made specifically for the Munch: Van Gogh exhibition at Van Gogh Museum. Music of Schoenberg scored the performance and was chosen not only for the relevant time period, but also because of the nervous yet inspiring tendency of the composition which mimicked and echoed the energies of Van Gogh and Munch.

For this project House of Makers collaborated with light designer Wijnand van der Horst, dancers Arno Brys and Tiemen Stemerding and graphic designers The Phoney Club.
